Marie's Dreams

CHAPTER 1 : STRANGE WORLD

After a tiring day at work, Marie came back home and went to sleep. In a dream, she found herself lost in a strange world. Her bare feet touched the sand and she saw herself wandering along the beach when something caught her attention. It was a huge crane sticking out of the sand. A very big ship, a tied-up ship on the beach, its size made people tiny. Marie approached it, climbing the crane, clinging to the mooring chain and trying to climb up. When Marie's two arms clung tightly to the bow of the ship, she raised her head and saw a magnificent city in the heart of this ship. Marie wondered how a small girl like her could climb all the way up here. In this city: the lights of the city, house planning, transportation infrastructure is not inferior to a real city.

Suddenly, the scene changed, Marie found herself exploring this place, stepping into a cafe, a drink shop arranged in a classic style. Marie chose a small place for herself, near where she sat was a spiral staircase. She noticed it was because its exterior looked mysterious and somewhat old. She approached and climbed the stairs to see where it would lead her. When she stepped onto the last step, she found this place completely different from the cafe below. This place is a room, but it's quite like a maze, you could say that: there's a maze in a room. Marie started to worry, but she still went unconsciously. The smaller space, the ceiling seemed to shrink, making breathing more difficult than ever. This must be a nightmare for those who are afraid of confined spaces. Suddenly, she heard the laughter of a group of people. Marie followed the voice and fortunately thanks to that sound she found her way out.

When she emerged from this place, she found herself in another place, which was a bustling shopping area, crowded with people and breathing became easier. There were a lot of items displayed here, with all kinds of clothes, accessories, and shoes. Looking tempting, but what made her even more excited was when she heard information from a group of friends chatting, they told each other that this was a non-money shopping center. This means that everything here is free and whoever wants to take as much as they want, but remember to line up if that booth is popular.

She moved from surprise to delight. Marie plunged in and chose the items she liked the most, things that in real life, she would have to think a lot about before buying. There are too many things to worry about in her life, it's like a loop that makes her tired and forgets to take care of herself. Here, she enjoys the comfortable emotions, indulging herself while in the real world, she is too harsh on herself.

When she wakes up, she realizes that the dream world has helped soothe her troubled soul. Marie knows she needs to change. She should take time to take care of her friend: her own soul.
