Memoirs Of A TI (Targeted Individual)

If you happen to see my username, you would probably wonder why I would use such a dismal pseudonym. You would also probably start thinking that this article and the ones that would follow it, if allowed by the powers that be, namely the editors, are going to be nothing more than doomsday predictions or a silverlining playbook club's worst nightmare, not to mention those who just suffered a nervous breakdown.

Believe it or not, but I don't have any intention of making your day, or any other curious readers' for that matter, any worse. It's just that soul searching is finally over for me which, I suppose, usually happens to people who have reached this stage in life, with the exception of course, of those who are currently in a psych ward.

But seriously, on a more personal level, sharing my thoughts with others who are just starting their journey, or are in some mild form of midlife crisis, is the only thing I can contribute to humanity for now. I didn't mean to sound corny or sentimental but there's really no other way of stating that.

It seems that when you've finally realized what you really want in life, and had come to the conclusion that most of the people around you are total idiots, that's when you have actually achieved self-actualization. Well that's at at least how I would define it.

It's my simplified definition of the psychological term, or a more personalized version suited for my specific situation in life.

I came up with this conclusion after years of trying to understand why a group of highly influential and educated people, with government positions and ties with the media, would find me so intimidating enough to put my life in a chokehold. Believe me, I am not a political prisoner or in a government sanctioned house arrest, but my situation is actually far worse.

I was not actually sure what this was all about at first, until I came across a poorly written blog about targeted individuals or TIs, which actually appeared to be more like the ramblings of a mental patient, and was not really that informative.

But it was my first time to come across words like "social engineering," "remote neural torture," "gas lighting," and "sensitizing." Words that are commonly used in psychological warfare by the military and were employed by Hitler's Stazi during World War 2. Apparently, the communists eventually inherited this insidious strategy to suppress the masses not too long ago.

Unfortunately, these were not well documented and there was no legitimate source that can verify that these actually happened. According to another article, also a personal blog by another TI, the reason for this is that it is still a government supported military program to manage dissidents in the 20th century.

If you're still wondering what the purpose of this article really is, I would like to assure you that it's a positive form of reinforcement when you find yourself questioning why the world is in such a state of disarray, and why people around you make decisions that a 12-year old would frown upon, and can actually be classified as the mental product of the deranged in clinical psychology.

Whenever you find yourself being the odd men out for thinking like this, never fear. Well, worst case scenario is you would be secretly branded a dissident by social climbers and highly insecure public servants with raisins for brains and get relegated to the lifelong suffering role of a TI just like me. Be that as it may, odds are, that's less likely to happen unless you've managed to consciously or unconsciously intimidate one of the above mentioned.

But if the thought ever crossed your mind as to why people are acting so illogical and weird around you, be comforted in the thought that you are one of the few who are on the empowering road to, or have actually achieved authentic self-actualization.
