The PC system requirements to run the God of War game have been announced by Santa Monica Studio. The detailed breakdown of system requirements has five separate settings, allowing fans of action RPG games to play them without having to spend a fortune to upgrade their PCs.
Apart from that, the Sony-owned studio has also released a trailer showing the new features for PC, including improved graphics and effects. God of War will launch on PC on January 14th. As per the studio's announcement, God of War can be played at a minimum quality of 720p/ 30fps, the highest is 4K/ 60fps. The PC version of God of War (Review), which launched in 2018 as a PlayStation exclusive title, will feature various visual improvements and graphic optimizations. As per information provided by Nvidia, these improvements include high-resolution shadows, improved screen space reflection, improved Ground Truth effects Ambient Occlusion (GTAO) and Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO), higher detail assets, and higher rendering resolution. Furthermore, God of War is playable in HDR on gaming monitors, TVs, and G-SYNC and G displays -SYNC ULTIMATE which offers a 21:9 aspect ratio for an immersive experience, says Nvidia.
As far as input methods are concerned, the game offers support for PlayStation DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers, in addition to various other gamepads and keyboard mapping adjustments.
