Revenge can be even more drastic than we have ever imagined. Sweet revenge took a bitter turn in a Bengal village when three minors fed a 14-year-old boy rosogolla and cold drinks to fulfill his dying wish a Rs.3 Lakhs ransom call to his widowed poor mother apparently went unheeded.
The blood-curdling revelations came forth in a police submission to a Juvenile Justice Board on Sunday in Nadia's Krishnanagar about the class VIII student's August 25 death. at the hands of his three kidnappers who wanted the ransom to buy a computer to play games.
The deceased's father had died a few years ago. He lived with his mother. who works as a domestic attendant, In his maternal uncle's home in Krishnanagar's Ghurni ' . Police said the student went missing on friday afternoon. His mother Soma said "He had gone to shop but did not return at night. I lodged a complaint at Kotwali police station early Saturday," The three juveniles were arrested on Saturday after confessed to the crime ,
The forensic department soon arrived to collect evidence. The details of the boy's family are still not clear. The three minor boys are addicted to video games and want to buy three computers and some electronic gadgets .. The victim's mother worked at three houses on a shift basis to earn a meager earning fo Rs.8000 per month. "We nabbed the trio, who are class 10 students of the same school the deceased studied in and are also local residents. They confessed to killing the boy and dumping his body in a pond," he said, adding further investigation is underway to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
The police suspect that the three teens realized that the boy’s mother might not be able to pay the ransom amount and so killed the boy fearing they would be caught by the law enforcers if they released him.

According to local sources The eighth class student’s family filed a missing diary at Kotwali police station in Krishnanagar on Friday night. According to police sources, they told the police station that the boy went out in the evening and did not return home after going to buy biscuits. A week ago, those three men had threatened to see the student of class VIII. According to the police, the murder was planned after this. That’s how they settle their problems. The investigators have learned that the three students had a plan to escape to foreign countries when they got hold of it. According to the Indian media reports, the teenage boys strangled him to death after feeding him rasgulla and cold drinks.
The slain boy’s body, tied in a sack, was recovered from a pond in Hijuli area on the outskirts of Krishnanagar city on Saturday.Police nabbed the trio and produced them before a juvenile court in Krishnanagar on Sunday, India Today reported.
“The deceased, a resident of Ghurni and a class 8 student, had gone missing on Friday afternoon while going to a nearby shop to buy some items. His mother received a ransom call of Rs 3 lakh on Saturday morning, following which she informed the Kotwali Police Station.

In yet another case, a student named Avishkar Shubhangi took his own life on August 27 in Kota, Rajasthan, according to NDTV.
His death marks the 21st suicide this year alone – highest since 2018.
Hailing from Maharashtra, Avishkar Shubhangi was residing with his grandparents in Kota. Avishkar allegedly leaped from the sixth floor of his coaching institute after completing an examination. Despite being rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
Avishkar was preparing for the NEET in Kota-- a renowned centre for aspiring engineers, doctors, and civil servants across the country.
