A very fine bird was singing on a tree.A man passing by saw the bird on the tree singing.The man stopped and admired the way the bird was singing.The man had a box filled with worms.As the bird kept on singing the man said"I love you bird,you have fine feathers".And the bird replied saying"if you give me one worm ,I would give you one feather".
The man replied asking"is that all?"

The following day,the bird didn't want to go for any work,the bird came up again singing and that same man was passing by.The bird said to the man"one worm,one feather",and the man gave the bird a worm and the bird gave him one feather.
Each day this kept on happening.The bird kept pulling out one feather in exchange of food.It got to a point that he couldn't fly because he was featherless.
This story is divided into three different meaning.
1)The first _compromising looking for short cut : I would start by explaining what compromise is.Compromise is agreeing to secure momentary gain and face shame and reproach.
As humans when you keep on looking for shortcuts,you crash,later on you would find out that those necessary things you need to grow genuinely are no more there (it takes the grace of God for revival).
Many people,the youth most especially have really lost it ,they have lost their destiny because they compromise.When it comes to making progress in life ,some people think that God is too slow ,so they tend to do things themselves.
2ndpeter 3 vs 9 (the A part ) makes it clear that God is not slow.Some people consider God as too slow in answering their request there by they go and consult other gods .
