My sister, on the other hand, was sharply relieved by her fever.

My aunt, who was already pregnant, lived in a private house with her parents and sister in a township.

That night my parents were out, they had gone somewhere and had to come back late at night. She was sleeping with her sister (who was seriously ill and had a critically high fever) in the same room, but on separate beds. Then she woke up to the sound of breaking pottery (as it turned out later, it was a ceramic devil that was hanging on the wall and had fallen), but she could not move, but felt that someone was walking around the room. She opened her eyes and sees that it is beginning to dawn, and a hunchbacked old woman with long loose gray bald patches, all in shabby rags, almost naked, is moving around the bedroom. The old woman slowly walks through the bedroom, whispering something... and at one point finds that my aunt sees her! The nocturnal visitor with an interested look walked over to her bed and sat down at her feet. And my aunt's feet were sticking out from under the covers. Grandmother took a lock of her hair and began to tickle the heels of my pregnant relative, paralyzed with terror, while whispering and giggling. The action went on for a while, and then my parents drove up to the house. Hearing the sound and seeing the light from the headlights, the old woman jumped up and, turning backward, quickly, quickly, as if in rapid-fire video, walked out of the room. My aunt's paralysis immediately set her free, and she went into hysterics. The search for my grandmother in the house, of course, was futile. My sister, on the other hand, was sharply relieved by her fever.

Perhaps she had come to fetch the sick woman, but she had switched to her "eye-eyed" sister. She had given birth to a son who was, to put it mildly, unhealthy: his legs were twisted and many operations had been performed on him as a child to achieve full walking function. Most likely, this is not connected with that case (well, a normally formed baby cannot suddenly change its bone structure (at least, I don't believe it), but there is definitely a coincidence.
