NASA Launches Spacecraft On 12-yr venture To Probe Jupiter Asteroids


NASA launched a spacecraft referred to as Lucy on a 12-year task to discover Jupiter's Trojan asteroids for the primary time on Saturday, gathering new insights into the sun system's formation.

The largest of them is about 60 miles (ninety five kilometers) in diameter.


Lucy will fly via its target items within 250 miles (400 kilometers) in their surfaces, and use its onboard gadgets and large antenna to research their geology, inclusive of composition, mass, density and quantity.
