Nche my love( love is complicated)

Tim's Stories' NCHA, MY LOVE

CHAPTER 7

It was break time and I was at my boss’ office when the security man told me there was a lady looking for me. I excused myself and walked out of my boss’s office. I walked downstairs to my office and I met Ncha, standing by the door of my office. I was anticipating a good office romance just like she had promised.

However, the mood I saw her completely dashed all my hopes. She was wearing a very long and sad face and I wondered what might have happen to her. I opened my office door and asked her to walk in.

“What is the matter now, Ncha?” I asked as soon as she had sat down.

“Ben, have you ever dated your friend’s girlfriend?”

“No, I haven’t.” I had actually done, several times actually.

“Can you date your friend’s girlfriend?”

“No”

“Please, tell me the truth. I know you are lying. I can see it in your eyes.” She said.

“What’s all this about?” I asked, feigning annoyance.

“Do you know Sam?” She asked.

Jesus!!! I thought to myself. I was shocked when she called the name of that rascal. Calling Sam’s name meant she has found out. This was bad news. How did she find out? Same has let me down. He has broken our agreement by telling Ncha that all what had been happening was just a game. I am finished. What am I going to do? Just now that I had started falling truly in love with Ncha, Sam has come and put water in my garri. By the way, for how long did I intend to hide the truth? Sooner or later, she was bound to find out but not like this; not like this. Sam has killed me.

“Yes, Ncha. I know Sam.” I agreed.

She slumped on the floor and started weeping now seriously.

“So, it is true, Ben? So, all these had been a game? I trusted you, Ben. I gave you my all. I made love to you in reckless abandon. I admitted you to my home and made you comfortable. So, all this while I had been a fool?” She was crying seriously.

I was praying that my boss doesn’t walk in and met her crying on the office floor. My boss was a drama king. If he met her in that position, he would been using it to mock me for as long as I worked in that establishment.

“I am sorry, Ncha.” I said, trying to cajole her. “It was all Sam’s fault. He made me do it. He brought up the whole idea. I am sorry that I accepted to do what he wanted. I feel terribly ashamed. However, along the line, I fell in love with you. I have fallen in love with you and I am for you now.” I said, trying to hold her.

She gave me a slap that made me see stars.

“Get away from me, you beast. Womanizer, Casanova, that’s what you are. I never want to see you again.” She shouted, got up from the floor and attempted to leave. I grabbed her and brought her back but she struggled fiercely to free herself. My hug was however, too tight and she could not free herself in spite of her best efforts.

“Let me go, Ben, let me go. You are a bad boy. You and Sam will pay for this, I swear you will both pay.

I went down on one knee as someone would do if he was about to propose to a woman.

“Please, Ncha, forgive me. I know I wronged you. There is no excuse for that. Let’s put the past behind us and move on. We can find love in each other. Let’s forget about that devil called Sam and move on, both of us.” I pleaded.

“Us? Who is us?” She said, looking around.“Look, there is no us, ok? It is over, get that into your gaming head."

I had become frustrated with her and flared up too.

“What is your problem now, Ncha?” I asked. “Is it not enough that I have accepted my wrongs and apologized? I was actually going to tell you this, anyway.”

“Liar? How soon were you going to tell me? How long were you going to use me before you finally tell me?"

“Don’t stand there and act like you are altogether innocent, Ncha.” I said. “You accepted to date me when you were still dating Sam. What does that make you? You also have a hand in this.” I said, rudely.

She was enraged and attempted to slap me. I caught her hand mid-air and pulled her towards me. She wriggled to broke free but she couldn’t. My grip was too tight. I pulled her close to me and planted a kiss on her lips and let my mouth stay there. She hesitated for a while and they gave in. We kissed passionately for a while and then she realized that I was hard down stairs, she pulled down my zipper, and took my thing out. I carried her on the office table, raised her mini skirt and you can guess the rest.

Some fifteen minutes later, we were done. She arranged her dress and her hair all the while avoiding to look into my eyes. She was ashamed at the fact that she had given in to me after all the trouble I had caused her. She asked me to go see her out of the building. I happily did. In my mind, I thought she had forgiven me. I had forgotten the old saying that hell has no fury like a woman scorned. In Ncha’s heart, she had not forgiven me and was now looking for a fiendish way to punish me.
