Oatmeal Cookies With Prunes



  • 1.5 tbsp. flour (all purpose flour)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. oat flakes
  • 1½ tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. chopped prunes
  • 1 tbsp. almonds
  • 2/3 tbsp. yogurt (preferably with prunes)
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil.


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (356 degrees F).
  • Finely chop the prunes. 
  • Chop the almonds.
  • Sift the flour with baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl.
  • Add oatmeal, sugar, chopped prunes and almonds.
  • Ina separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt and olive oil.
  • Pour the yogurt mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients.
  • Knead the dough with your hands.
  • Divide the dough into 20 balls. 
  • Place the balls in a staggered pattern on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a fork to flatten each ball. Sprinkle cookies with powdered sugar.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Cool the cookies on a baking tray. To separate the cookies from the parchment, spritz the back of the paper with water.
