The American retailer Target has revealed the cost of the Pixel 6 smartphones, which Google will officially present at the presentation on October 19.
If the leak is to be believed, the Pixel 6's US pricing will be a pleasant surprise. Thus, the basic version of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro for 128 GB will cost $ 599 - $ 100 cheaper than the starting price of last year's Pixel 5. At the same time, the older Pixel 6 Pro model with the same memory capacity is priced at $ 899. If the data is correct, the flagship Pixel 6 smartphones will turn out to be surprisingly (relatively) cheap smartphones - previously, Google's head of hardware, Rick Osterloch, called the Pixel 6 “premium priced devices,” and then everyone assumed the $ 900- $ 1000 range.
So far, Google has officially confirmed the Pixel 6 will be released in seven other countries besides the United States. And there, if you focus on leaks, the new Google phones will cost significantly more. The MSRP for European retail is 650 euros for the Pixel 6 and 900 euros for the Pixel 6 Pro. Prices for the UK market are even higher - £ 850 for the Pixel 6 and £ 950 for the Pixel 6 Pro.
Earlier it was reported that Google plans to endow the Pixel 6 with an extended five-year Android OS update warranty and launch a single Pixel Pass subscription similar to the Apple One.
