Pizza with kefir in the oven

Dough for 3 pizzas:

Kefir - 250 ml

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Sunflower oil - 2 tbsp.

Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Soda - 0.5 tsp.

Wheat flour - 680 gr



Salami sausage - 400 gr

Canned pepper - 1 jar

Onions - 3 pcs.

Tomato paste or sauce - to taste

Olive oil - to grease the pasta

Oregano, basil - to taste

Hard cheese - 300 gr


Pizza is a traditional Italian dish that has long gone beyond the borders of its country. Nowadays, pizza is cooked in all corners of the world and there are many ways to cook it. Pizza is cooked on different types of dough: both yeast and yeast-free. Toppings for pizza and there is a great variety. There are hostesses who prefer to buy pizza dough in the supermarket, but what could be better than pizza made with homemade dough! Today I suggest making a pizza with kefir, which will be thin and crispy.


Prepare the ingredients to make the dough.

In a bowl, mix the liquid ingredients: room temperature kefir, sunflower oil and eggs.

Mix the kefir, oil and eggs.

Whisk the mixture with a whisk, add salt and baking soda and stir thoroughly.

Stir in the salt and baking soda.


Sift half of the flour into a bowl and stir the dough with a spoon.

Add flour.

Add more flour until the dough becomes thicker, continue to knead with your hands. The dough should not be sticky. Let the dough rest for about 15-20 minutes until we have the stuffing ready.

Next divide the dough into 2-3 parts. Roll out each part separately into a flapjack.

Roll out the dough into a circle


Transfer the dough piece to parchment and place on a baking tray. Brush the flatbread with olive oil, then with tomato paste or sauce.

Grease dough with tomato sauce.

Place sliced sausage and bell peppers in strips on top. Sprinkle with half rings of onions.

Sprinkle the sausage, onions and bell peppers.

Also sprinkle the pizza with oregano and basil, top with grated hard cheese.

Sprinkle with cheese and herbs.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pizza for 15 minutes. Take out of the oven, slice hot.
