Pogacha and cheese

The pie turns out quite large, you can take a smaller baking dish and only half of the ingredients. As usual, I knead the yeast dough with the bread machine, but you can also knead it by hand. I want to warn you that not every bread machine can knead this amount of dough. Mine handles this task with ease. I pour warm milk into the bucket of the bakery, add yeast, and leave it for 5-10 minutes.

I add the sifted flour, egg, melted butter, salt, sugar, put the bucket in the baker, turn on the mode of kneading dough. When the dough is kneaded, I transfer it to a bowl, cover it with cling film and put it in a warm place until it increases in volume by 2-3 times. At this time the cheese is rubbed on a coarse grater.

When the dough increases in volume, shift it to the table, knead well.Divide the dough into 10-12 equal parts.To bake this pie I use a square form of 28 * 28 cm, you can use a round shape.Grease the form with butter. I take one piece of dough, roll it out very thinly to the size of the form, put it in the form.Melt butter in the microwave oven. I smear the dough with melted butter with a cooking brush.

I roll out a thin second piece of dough, put it on top of the first.Again I grease the dough with melted butter, now sprinkle with cheese (I sprinkle cheese on every second layer of dough, except the top). In this way I roll out and lay the dough until the last one. I do not smear the topmost layer of dough with butter! Carefully cut the pie with a sharp knife into squares up to the bottom.I cover the form with cling film and put it in a warm place, so that the pie will increase in volume by about two times.Carefully grease the top of the pie with whipped egg yolk.

I bake the pie in an oven at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients for "Pogacha with cheese":

Wheat flour / Flour - 700 g

Yeast (dry quick-soluble) - 2.5 tsp.

Milk - 400 ml

Chicken Egg - 1 egg

Butter (for pastry - 100 g; to grease the layers - 230 g; to grease the baking molds - 10 g) - 340 g

Sugar - 1 tbsp.

Salt - 0.5 tbsp.

Ladyboy cheese - 400 gr

Egg yolk - 1 pc
