Porridge

I offer you my recipe for preserves for rassolniki. Perhaps all of us have those moments when we need to prepare dinner urgently, and time is short, in which case we can use the preserves in a jar. This option is very interesting because nothing needs to be boiled, fried or soaked in advance, which greatly saves our time, as part of the recipe only products that grow on your garden plots. This wonderful recipe came to me from Belarus, as it turned out later, similar recipes are on other sites, but the method of preparation is different.

 

Ingredients for "Preserving cucumbers of any size for rassolnik":

Cucumber (any size) - 3 kg

Onions - 0.5 kg

Vegetable oil (I always take less) - 1 cup.

Sugar - 1 cup.

Salt - 0.5 tbsp.

Garlic - to taste

Vinegar (9%) - 150 ml

Greens (optional) - to taste

Recipe "Prepare cucumbers of any size for pickles":

 

Cut off the very thick skin of the cucumbers.

Cut the cucumbers into cubes.

 

Put the cucumbers in a container, add chopped onion rings (I do it on a grater berner), squeeze garlic, pour sugar, salt, pour the vinegar, oil, mix well and leave in the refrigerator for a day - stir a couple of times.

I added some chopped parsley - it seemed to be too much.

 

Put on the fire, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.

Spread into sterilized jars and seal with lids.
