On this review we are going to check different experiences of this phones which include; unboxing audio battery charging camera wifi speed display benchmark Unboxing- Iphone goes for minimalism & its prity simple with its packaging compared to ROG7 which is packed in something looking like a interplanetary box coming with a magnetic strap that acts as a doc that launches augmented reality video game, phone cover, charger and a sizable pouch that carries the phones aeroactie coler. Audio- Iphone have the best sounding speakers on the market but the ROG is something else.ROG6 already had the best speaker in the market and now they say they've given the speaker more room to be able to move thus resulting to a more boomier sound . ROG7 is louder ,the bass is thumping & position of the speakers is wonderful but it gets better when you use the aeroactive cooler:which has a sub woofer & just by locking it in it adds warmth & richness. Battery- Battery is the most co-fundamental feature of the phone.Getting the phones side by side, charging them to 100%,equalized brightness & speakers volume at 50%... For the 1st hours the iphones looks good probably because its display reduces refresh rate automaticaly compared to ROG7 to save battery but then i realized apple's battery indicator doesn't tell the truth. After some more hous the ROG started pulling ahead and after more usage the iphone was off after 9hrs 30min but the ROG7 took 12hrs 18min to die. Charging- ROG7 has two separate 3000mAh batteries alot more than the iphone but still lighter than the iphone .Using the original cables i started charging.ROG uses 65w unike the iphon's 27w charger. Iphone is off to a faster start but after a while ROG equalizes and afterwards overtakes the iphone14.ROG charges at 1hr7min while the iphone still has a way to go . Camera- ROG has a natural blur when taking selfies just as sharp and extremely good at those difficult dynamic range situations and has the power to shoot at full 4k slowmo which is far beyond the 1080p that apple can do but the iphone pulls ahead with the intelligence;the wayit identifies & treats faces so they're the centre of attention the way it uses all its sensors to focus on something plus the video experience also goes to the iphone . Wifi speed- For this we are doing a google speed test after which the ROG was slower compared to the iphone. Display- Phones have been dialing up from the standard 60Hz to the 90Hz and now to the 120Hz but the ROG has 165Hz display .Though apple nails it down when it comes to animation quality .The ROG has a back display too. The iphone comes with a higher peek brightness with LPTU tech and can lower its refresh rate to 1Hz when not needed and it helps save the battery and a slightly higher resolution. Benchmaking- Now we get into the performance .Opening with antutu the ROG is coming out over 30% higher though this was done with the cooler on which can cool its surface by upto 25 degrees celcius .Next is the GFX benchmark,ROG finishes the test with close to double the performance. After several tests ,apple has the lead when it comes to CPU but the ROG has the better GPU.
