Writing as a whole can be a very rewarding experience but, it als presents its challenges and most of the people who have written about this stuff, as I have come across it, everything is fairly outdated, as with 2023 comes a lot of new information and tips and tricks people can genuinely utilize to enhance their blog performance, writing performance and so many other brilliant options. However, Money is a big thing in this world and we always are looking to get it easier if we can. residual and passive incomes are some of the best things about being an author or a writer of the various sorts. Writing As A Fiction Author Writing as a fiction author there are a few great options to select from when looking into being an individually published author. Self-Published or Indie, whatever you prefer. These fiction works go well on amazon, but this is old news, no one really finds this to be relevant information anymore as it's a saturated topic for content when it comes to authors. so, what are the places we don't always hear about? thats the places i've gone down a path to find some of the most legitimate places to earn extra incomes as a fiction author. I also will be covering later on the best Non-fiction places as well to expand your writing incomes. Vocal On Vocal, they encourage to have creative non fiction and fiction alike, so this place is a bit of a two birds one stone solution. Vocal even goes so far as to host short story competitions and reward the winners based on the specifications they give. some have had issues in the past with the results of some competitions, but it can still be a great exposure for your writing. Inkspired Inkspired is a great starting point for a writer who needs guidance of any sort. the people are friendly and constructive and we have a nice community going on now where authors and readers are together, and even some readers are becoming authors on this platform. Draft2Digital Draft2Digital is great if you want to add to your distribution platforms for ebooks, however i would consider looking at the paper back and audio book options if those are something you are not aldready exploring with your works. just be sure to provide the proper length for print copies and you have a great quality of print that will pay you royalties. oh, you can also earn comissions by joining affiliate programs for each of the distributors for your books which allows another source of income. not to mention they have a handy all in one link maker, where you can add the links advertising your book. For beginners this tool is actually quite flexible for free to earn platforms. if you don't have a KDP account already, you can even have them manage your KDP Distribution As Well. thats some fancy service right there. anyways, i am going to leave my affiliate link, because thats actually one of my favourites to use, and we both can earn from you learning about this particular platform. https://www.draft2digital.com/CamRoze Where To Go For Non-Fiction Earning Well, the good news is there are alot mor options for non fiction earning as there are more places for advertising this style of writing as well. There are so many places, i am limiting it down so this doesnt become a crazy length post on this blog not that i mind long posts, but there is a point where too much is exactly that. Medium Of course, i find this one has begun to become a saturated topic, so because of this, i will leave the details to the bloggers who post exactly this content exclusively. however, if you wite based on personal experiences on your personal blog (For example like here on Blogger), you could just link in the post to import it onto medium to help make more of an audience based on your existing content. Sometimes its not what your writing about, but where. Sometimes i wish more platfoms had this import feature, however, i know for a fact that one hundred followers in your active time is an easy breaking point if you spend time just building up that platform. the good news is, the more naturally you gow on medium, the more likely when you monetize, you will earn a fair bit more because people are already returning to read your content. Scheduling on this platform can be your best friend as well. so that is something to consider. If your like the idea of writing on medium, i would suggest applying for some publications or creating one yourself but that does come at the cost of a membership, which keeps medium ad free. https://medium.com/@camroze/membership Smashoid Smashoid is a fairly new platform as far as i am aware of, but the best part is, every article you have go up on Smashoid starts earning and can be paid into your Paypal Account. They do have some reuirements for word count, the topics tend to be more geared for non fiction writing, You can write a bunch of articles on there that will slowly grow in their views and earn incomes, unless you do as they reccomend and gamble on trying to guess what trends are happening in the upcoming week or sometimes two, depending on how backlogged they are with posts to allow.
