Potato-mushroom pita rolls


Lavash - 2 pcs.

Potatoes (raw, peeled) - 500 g

Mushrooms (boiled) - 100 g

Broth (potatoes) - 50 ml

Greens (any) - 1 bunch.

Onions - 1 pc

Garlic - 3 cloves.

Salt - to taste

Vegetable oil (3 tablespoons for frying onions + oil to fry rolls) - 3 tbsp.


Recipe "Potato-mushroom rolls from pita":

Boil the potatoes in salted water. While the potatoes are boiling fry chopped onion in vegetable oil until transparent. Mushrooms and herbs finely chop, pass garlic through a press. Drain the broth from the cooked potatoes, leaving 50 ml. Purée the potatoes by adding the broth. Mix mashed potatoes with mushrooms, onion, garlic and herbs.

Divide the mashed potatoes into two parts. Dab a sheet of pita with half of the mashed potatoes, cover with the second sheet of pita, dab the second half of the mashed potatoes.

Roll up the roll on the wide side of the pita.

Cut the roll into about 2 cm slices. Cut it with a well sharpened knife.

Fry the rolls on both sides in vegetable oil. Serve hot.
