Potatoes with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven


Potatoes - 5-6 pcs.

Stuffing meat - 300 gr

Tomatoes - 3-5 units.

Provence herbs - to taste

Hard cheese - 100 g

Salt, pepper - to taste

Sour cream - 4 tbsp.

Water - 50 ml

Garlic - 4-5 cloves


To prepare potatoes with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven, prepare all the necessary products according to the list.

Place minced meat in a deep bowl, add salt and pepper, mix well. Also add chopped garlic. The garlic can be chopped or run through a garlic peeler.

Season with salt, pepper and garlic.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. To the potatoes, add salt and pepper, as well as provanza herbs or others to taste. Add 2 tbsp. sour cream to the potatoes. Stir all the ingredients together.

Combine the potatoes, sour cream and spices.

Put the potatoes in a baking dish and smooth them out.

Put the potatoes in the baking tin.

Put minced meat evenly on top of the potatoes.

Put the filling on top of the potatoes.

Cut tomatoes into circles.

Slice the tomatoes.

Spread tomato slices on top of minced meat, salt and pepper. Also sprinkle with Provencal herbs.

Place the tomatoes on top of the minced meat.

Dilute a couple more spoonfuls of sour cream with boiling water and spread evenly on top of the tomatoes.

Pour over the sour cream and water.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cook the dish for 45 minutes. Then take out the form and sprinkle the casserole with grated hard cheese.

Bake the potatoes with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven for another 10-12 minutes, you can a little more if you want a fried crust on top. Ready casserole sprinkle with chopped greens.

Using a cooking spatula, distribute the casserole on plates and serve. Very tasty!
