preparing a classic Caesar salad

Ingredients:

Lettuce leaves - 100gm

Chicken fillet - 200 grams

Croutons (bread crumbs) - 50 grams

Parmesan - 50 grams

Chicken eggs - 2 Eggs

Parsley - To taste

Caesar sauce - 50 ml.

Step 1

So, here - all the ingredients we need. I'll make a disclaimer right away: I used pre-made Caesar sauce (I got it from Europe, something similar is sold here too), but if you don't have it, you can also make your own Caesar sauce. There is a recipe on this site.

Step 2.

I used fresh lettuce leaves that I grew myself at my cottage. The lettuce needs to be as fresh and high quality as possible to make a delicious Caesar.

Step 3

A piece of whole chicken fillet should be fried in a grill pan, well, in a regular frying pan. About 3-4 minutes on each side, until a firm crust forms. The meat should stay juicy inside. Boil hard-boiled eggs and cut into slices.

Step 4

Again, I have the sauce and croutons already prepared, but if you don't have them - croutons can be made by toasting small slices of bread in a dry pan or baking them in the oven, and the recipe for caesar sauce is on this site.

Step 5.

Grate the Parmesan on the finest grater, parsley well washed.

Step 6

Dip the lettuce leaves in ice water for a minute, then pour the water off, let them dry and tear them in random pieces (depending on your preference - larger or smaller).

Step 7

The chicken fillet is also cut into beautiful slices or pieces of other shapes, the main thing is not to grind. The chicken pieces should be quite large.

Step 8

Tear the parsley with your hands or chop it. But, again, do not grind - it should be felt in the salad.

Step 9

It's up to the smallest thing. Place the lettuce leaves and parsley in the bottom of the salad bowl, add the caesar sauce and some Parmesan, and stir to combine. On top, lay sliced eggs, chicken and breadcrumbs, and then sprinkle the whole dish with Parmesan. Done!
