Quick pizza with sausage and cheese

Products (for 4 servings)

For the dough:

Flour in w/c - 275 g (2 cups of 200 ml + 1 tablespoon) + to work with the dough

Water (warm) - 185 ml

Dry yeast (active) - 7 gr

Sugar - 0,25 tsp.

Salt - 0,5 tsp.

For stuffing:

Sausage - 100 gr

Hard cheese - 100 g

Ketchup tomato (thick) - 1 tbsp.

Pitted olives - 100 g

1. Prepare the necessary ingredients to make a quick pizza dough.


2. The pizza toppings can be anything you want. I have ketchup, sausage, olives, and hard cheese.


3. Peel the sausage from the casing, cut into thin circles or slices.

Cut olives into rings.

Grate cheese on a coarse grater or cut into thin slices.

4. Add sugar and dry yeast to the warm water. Stir and leave for 7-8 minutes to activate the yeast.


5. In a separate bowl sift the flour. Add salt and stir. Make an indentation in the flour, pour the yeast and stir.


6. Knead a soft dough. Knead for 3-4 minutes and pizza dough is ready. 

Place an upturned tray or pizza stone in the oven.

To the pizza did not dry out the sides, and the pizza itself better browned, you can the first 3-4 minutes to bake it with steam - for this you need to install (in the normal position) another tray at the bottom of the oven.

Turn on the oven to preheat to 260 degrees.

7. From parchment baking paper, cut out a circle with a diameter slightly larger than 30 cm.

We will form the pizza on the parchment. 

First, stretch the dough with your hands by weight. Then lay the dough out on the parchment and roll with a flour-dusted rolling pin into a flat piece about 30 cm in diameter.


8. Grease the base of the pizza with thick ketchup, leaving the edges free.


9. Place the prepared toppings (sausage and olives). It is desirable not to overload the pizza with it.


10. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the pizza. Place the pizza with the parchment on a hot baking tray or on a hot bread/pizza stone.


11. The edges of the pizza can be lightly greased with olive oil or other vegetable oil. Send the pizza to the oven heated to 260 degrees. 

If the pizza is baked with steam, pour half a cup of boiling water into the lower baking tray and close the oven immediately.

Bake the pizza until browned, about 8 minutes.

12. Once the cheese is melted and the sides of the pizza are crispy, take the pizza out of the oven.


13. The pizza with sausage and cheese is ready.
