Currently, Xiaomi smartphones and devices are already hard to call affordable for users, but the Chinese company has 2 sub-brands POCO and Redmi, which will take place in the market instead of the main brand in terms of accessibility.
So this week, the flagship device Redmi K50 Pro was presented, which boasts an excellent price / performance ratio, because manufacturers usually ask for such parameters from $ 999, and here the new product came out 2 times cheaper.
The Redmi K50 Pro smartphone was the first to receive the top-end mobile platform Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek. The eight-core chipset is made using a 4nm process technology and has the usual 1 + 3 + 4 core structure with a 3.05 GHz Cortex-X2 main core. For cooling, an extensive cooling system with an area of 3950 mm² is provided. In the Antutu benchmark, the device scores over 1,000,000 points.
The novelty also received a high-quality flat screen, represented by a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED matrix with a resolution of WQHD + (1440 × 3200 pixels), a frame rate of 120 Hz, support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. The sensor sampling rate is 480 Hz, the maximum brightness reaches 1200 nits. The protective glass is GG Victus, and in the upper part there is a 20 MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX 596 sensor. The display is considered the most expensive of all presented in the Redmi series with an A+ rating from DisplayMate.
The configuration of the main camera is average. The main sensor is a 108 MP large 1/1.52" Samsung HM2 sensor with OIS stabilization. Additional sensors are 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro cameras. Video recording is available in a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 fps.
Of course, the new flagship is equipped with an ultra-fast 120-watt 5000 mAh battery charging, which reaches its full capacity in 19 minutes. Despite such a battery, the body turned out to be quite thin 8.5 mm, and the device weighs 200 g.
The design of the new model is slightly reminiscent of Vivo smartphones on the back. Redmi K50 Pro is presented in four colors: silver, green, blue and crystal black.
The Redmi flagship also received the following parameters: stereo speakers, NFC module, MIUI 13 (Android 12) system shell, side fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, IR transmitter and Wi-Fi 6.
