Saint Jude: The saint of the hopeless and the despaired

Saint Jude was a member of the twelve apostle of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures. He is also identified as Thaddeus, not to be mistaken with Judas Iscariot.

According to ancient history, after his martyrdom, pilgrims came to his burial place to pray and many of them experienced the powerful intercessions of saint Jude. Thus he was given the title "The saint of the hopeless and the despaired".

On two different occasions saint Bridget of Sweden and saint Bernard had visions from God asking them to accept saint Jude as the "patron saint of the impossible".

The practice stem from the idea that a few christians invoked him for fear of praying to Jesus' betrayer, Judas Iscariot but they are very different.

This led the christians to believe the ignored Jude thus supposedly became eager to assist anyone who sought his help, to the point of interceding in the most desperate of circumstances.

My personal testimony

I first heard of this wonderful saint in 2020, around the time of December, I read the prayer with faith of my request being granted and He really came through for me when I needed that miracle most. What I needed came when I really needed it. So therefore I urge you earnestly to make your request and with faith you are most surely going to receive it.

Prayer to saint Jude Thaddeus.

O most holy apostle, saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the church honour and invoke thee universally as the patron of hopeless case and of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, who am so miserable.

Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of. Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation of heaven, in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings particularly (here make your request) and that I may praise God with thee and the elect throughout eternity.

"I promise thee, o blessed Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favour to always honour thee as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to thee. Amen"

Saint Jude pray for us.
