Shiva is the Destroyer Who Ends the Cycle of Time Which, in Turn, Begins a New Creation

Shankar or Mahadev is one of the most important deities in the Aranya culture, later known as Sanatana Shiva Dharma. He is a god among the trinity. He is also called Mahadev, the God of Gods. He is also known by the names Bholenath, Shankar, Mahesh, Rudra, Neelkanth, Gangadhar, etc. He is also known by the name of Bhairav in Tantra practice. His name is Rudra in the Vedas. Shiva is seen in most paintings as a yogi and is worshipped in both the form of a Shivalinga and an idol. The serpent deity is seated around Shiva's neck and holds Damru and Trishul in his hands. He resides in Kailash. This is the basis of Shaivism.  In this opinion, along with Shiva, Shakti is worshiped in all forms.

Shankar Ji is called the god of destruction. Shankar Ji is famous for both his gentle face and fierce form. It has been considered by other gods. Shiva is the ruler of the origin, condition, and destruction of the universe. Among the trinity, Lord Shiva is considered the God of destruction. Shiva is eternal and the primary source of the creation process, and this Kaal Mahakaal is the basis of astrology. Although the meaning of Shiva is considered to be welfare, he has always kept both rhythm and holocaust under his control. Ravana, Shani, Kashyap Rishi, etc. have become his devotees. Shiva sees everyone equally; that's why he is called Mahadev. Some popular names of Shiva are Mahakal, Adidev, Kirat, Shankar, Chandrashekhar, Jatadhari, Nagnath, Mrityunjaya [victorious over death], Trimbak, Mahesh, Vishwesh, Maharudra, Vishdhar, Neelkanth, Mahashiv, Umapati [Parvati's husband], Kaal Bhairav, Bhootnath, Evanyan [the one with the third eye], Shashibh, etc.

Lord Shiva is known by the name of Rudra. Rudra means the remover of anger, that is, the remover of sorrows, so the form of Lord Shiva is a welfare factor. Many forms of Lord Shiva have been described in the fifth chapter of Rudrashtadhyai. Rudra is considered to be immovable, movable, all matter, all castes, humans, gods, animals, and plants. It has been proved to be the innermost feeling and the best feeling. Rudrashtadhyai, page number 10; Geeta Press, Gorakhpur.

According to the statement of Lord Rama in the Ramayana, one who knows the difference between Shiva and Rama can never be dear to either Lord Shiva or Lord Rama. According to Rudra Ashtadhyayi under Shukla Yajurveda Samhita, Surya Indra Virat Purush is the form of Lord Shiva for all the welfare of green trees, food, water, air, and human beings. Taxes give them the same result. The meaning is that the whole creation is Shiva, and humans get the fruits according to their deeds, that is, Lord Shiva provides rain, water, etc. to those with healthy intelligence, and Shivji also rules disease, sorrow, and death, etc.
