So, I'm sharing my favorite recipe for making Snickers cake at home.

The cooking time is 30 minutes.

The number of approximate servings - 16.

  Ingredients

Shortcrust cake:

Wheat flour - 190 g

Brown sugar - 70 g

Melted butter - 120 g and a little for greasing the molds

 

Caramel filling:

Condensed milk - 395 g

Brown sugar - 70 g

Butter - 60 g

Roasted unsalted peanuts - 150 g

 

Chocolate glaze:

Bitter chocolate - 300g

Condensed milk (or heavy cream) - 80 g

 

Making Snickers cake at home

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Put baking paper in the cake tin and grease it with melted butter.

 

2.To prepare the cake, mix the flour, sugar and melted butter. Transfer to the form and press it firmly with the palms of your hands to the bottom. Bake the dough for 20 minutes, until the cake has a nice golden color. Then take it out of the oven.

 

3.For the caramel filling, mix the condensed milk, sugar and butter in a ladle and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 8 minutes. The mixture should not boil. Once it has thickened, the caramel is ready.

 

4.Pour the caramel filling over the shortcrust pastry and place it in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. As soon as the caramel begins to bubble - you can take it out.

 

5.Let the cake cool for about one hour.

 

6.Next, sprinkle the caramel surface evenly with peanuts.

 

7.Heat the chocolate and condensed milk over low heat and stir until the mixture is smooth. This should take about 3-4 minutes.

 

8.Fill the cake with the finished frosting over the peanuts and flatten with a rounded table knife.

 

9.Cool the dessert in the refrigerator. After 1 to 2 hours, the Snickers cake is ready. It can be sliced and served.
