So tired! Business tips that everyone is tired of

People love to give advice. And sometimes even in areas that they don't understand at all. And when it comes to business, here, even those who have never been in it know how to do it right. Of all the many business advices, there are a few that have already become a bit of a mouthful. Moreover, it is a stretch to call them working. Here they are.

Visualization.

Today it is very fashionable to visualize everything: from family happiness to winning a competition. Entrepreneurial success is one of the most popular subjects for visualization. Overall, it's not a bad idea, if it weren't for one "but." It doesn't work without concrete action and hard work. For some reason, those who say they just visualized themselves succeeding forget to mention how hard they had to work. Or there's another option: they're not telling the truth and their accomplishments are made up.

The fashion of making mistakes.

Those who are getting on the entrepreneurial path often hear about how helpful it is to rush to make mistakes and learn from their missteps. Wait, mistakes in business are inevitable, but they come at a cost. Sometimes even too much. And often, by rushing to act and not calculating the risks, people lose not only a lot of money, but the business entirely. So before you do something it is better to assess the situation and reinsure yourself, without hurrying to make a bump. And, failures will still happen, but it's better to be prepared for them.

The client is right.

In general, this is not a bad position, but not when it comes to consumer terrorism. Give the employee the opportunity to assert their rights (and the company's rights) and the authority to resolve the situation.

For example, if a price reduction would lead to a settlement, it is easier for the employee to do it themselves.

Balancing your business and personal life

This is good advice that can save you from burnout. But there is a nuance. The entrepreneur works most of the time. He switches off from processes only when the business is built and running itself. And in the beginning you have to live the business without sleep or rest. If you spend effort on finding a balance, you probably won't get anywhere.

Positive thinking.

In order to be able to adequately assess a situation and make a decision, you have to think critically. Excessive positive thinking leads to misleading expectations that can undermine confidence, without which it is difficult to achieve goals.

An overall positive emotional background is fine. But the entrepreneur is first and foremost a realist who recognizes that situations are different.

Early Rising.

Advice to get up early and have more time is pouring in from everywhere. In fact, they have no justification whatsoever; it's fashionable. In order to be productive, it's much more useful not to get up at five in the morning and fight with sleep all day, but to build your regime, in which you feel comfortable to work and live. So you avoid burnout and actively move towards your goal.

It is worth to be attentive to yourself, make real plans and listen to less dubious advice.
