Something strange is going on at our dacha.

Something strange is going on at our dacha. Yesterday, my husband and I were sitting in the house, on the couch, watching TV. The kitchen door hasn't been installed yet, so I can see the front door to the house and part of the kitchen, which starts right at the entrance, through a large opening.

I hear some noise in the kitchen, automatically grumbling at the dog, thinking it's him. After a while, the rustling in there again. Such a loud noise. Already my husband heard it. Came out into the kitchen - all quiet, the dog is under the car on the street. Checked all the cabinets, we thought maybe a cat came in. No one. And Baby, who loves to chase cats, would've smelled it. Okay, forget it.

I don't know where it came from. No one can come in to our place. The only way in is through the big gate, which is always closed.

(Our garage is always open, so it overlooks the street itself and the approach to the house.)

About 10 minutes later I went inside - and the boot was in the same place as the first time. Then I thought hard: no one could go in, that's for sure, the dog has never dragged anything, and thunderstorms are terribly afraid, usually close up somewhere and wait it out.

Boots husband threw on the road, away from home. He told me, and I immediately remembered yesterday's fuss in the kitchen, although there seemed to be no connection.

In general, it all defies logic and explanation. We think...
