Stranger Things 4 teaser trailer has been released. On Saturday at the online-only TUDUM event, Netflix gave us a new look at the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things that introduces the newest locale, the Creel House. This is tied to a new recurring cast member in Stranger Things season 4: Victor Creel (Robert Englund), a disturbed and intimidating man who was imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s. The psychiatric hospital is a new setting in Stranger Things 4, as the Netflix series expands beyond Hawkins, with Hopper (David Harbour) stranded in Russia.
Stranger Things 4 Teaser Trailer
In the trailer, we see a new group of kids playing in a house that isn't very well kept. One boy is scared to step outside and gets lost in the house. He comes face to face with an ominous figure inside a closet. With the help of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), the boy gets the hell out of the house. They're found by new group member Bob (Sean Astin), who takes them into the woods to meet more new group members, played by Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. We also see Will (Noah Schnapp) on the bike, but that doesn't last long. He's interrupted by a mysterious truck that arrives. Although we don't get much in the way of narrative in the teaser trailer, we're presented with a new cast member and our first glimpse at the entire group of kids.
What Does The Creel House Mean?
We get a brief look at the Creel House in the Stranger Things 4 teaser trailer, which is a small red-brick cottage in the woods. The Creel House was once known as the Hawkins National Laboratory. The purpose of the lab was to test out the newly developed psychotropic drugs that were available in the 1950s. Many children were tortured and killed in the camp. The story in Stranger Things season 4, according to Netflix, will revolve around Hopper going back in time to a different part of the timeline. The trailer begins with a voiceover by Billy (Dacre Montgomery), alerting viewers that it is the Hawkins Lab, and that Billy and his friends are about to die. As you would expect from the Hawkins Lab, which is called the "Game Changer." "This is the work of the Game Changer, Hopper.
A Shocking Twist At The End
At the end of the trailer, there is a very shocking scene which has led fans to believe that the Stranger Things cast could all be in danger, since something happens to each of the young stars, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will), Sadie Sink (Max), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Cara Buono (Karen), and Joe Keery (Steve). I like to think that it is a scene like the first appearance of the Upside Down in Stranger Things 2, where Will was sucked into the shadows of the hospital. Set to Stephen King's It's Heart-Pounding Emotion At one point, Stranger Things' creators were seriously considering Stephen King's 1986 classic It as an official source material for Stranger Things.
Who Is Victor Creel?
Victor Creel is an 80's rock-star who comes from a wealthy family and, when he is a teenager, he becomes friends with Hawkins resident Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin). Victor works in a factory that makes large automated machines, which he has the power to control. He is a known psychopath with a twisted sense of humor. While he likes to joke around with Lucas, he will go to any lengths to get what he wants. He is obsessed with reproducing the world's largest erotic model, Anna, who is someone Lucas' mother has a crush on. There are some hints to this being another case of the Demogorgon killing his girlfriend, but that remains a mystery. Victor appears to be the new threat of Stranger Things season 4, so beware. Where Will Stranger Things Season 4 Take Place?
Conclusion
Season 4 will move forward by three years, ending in 1983, but the teaser gives no indication as to the timeline of the upcoming season. It's important to note that the new trailer doesn't seem to be connected to a single episode of Stranger Things season 4, so it's possible that this new trailer is a tease to the next movie in the series. That would mean we're looking at just over a year away from the release of Stranger Things 4, which would put us around Halloween 2019. This is where things get a little tricky. As previously stated, it's unlikely that the creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers, will release a fourth season this year, as they are both directing movies at the moment.
