the essentials in brief
Many of us use WhatsApp on a daily basis to keep in touch with other people and exchange ideas with them on a regular basis.
In the meantime there is also the practical broadcast function, with which we can not only update several contacts at the same time - we can also use it to find out who actually saved our cell phone number.
Do you also use WhatsApp every day to talk to your loved ones, acquaintances or colleagues? Then you've probably asked yourself which of your contacts also has your number. Here we tell you a simple trick to find out who saved you.
Anyone who uses the WhatsApp messenger service can connect quickly and easily with family, friends or colleagues. We only need the appropriate number to keep in touch with others and to be able to send news, pictures or videos. If you want to find out which of your contacts also saved your cell phone number, you can use the broadcast function to find out.

WhatsApp: How to see who saved your number
Are you curious who saved you in his or her contact list? Unfortunately, WhatsApp does not yet have a clear list or option that will tell you right away. But you can still find out which of your contacts saved your number using the broadcast feature. In the following we will show you how to do this for Apple and Android devices.
How it works with Apple devices:
Using the broadcast function, you can not only send a message to multiple contacts at the same time, but also check who has you in their WhatsApp contact list. It's easy with these steps:
In WhatsApp, under "Chats" in the top left of the screen, you'll find the "Broadcasts" option. Click it, then tap New List.
Under "Recipients", select one of your contacts who you know has saved your phone number.
Now add another contact to the list that you want to know if they have your number.
Tap "Create" in the top-right bar. Your broadcast will now be created on WhatsApp and a corresponding chat page will be opened.
Compose a test message and send it to the people you have already selected.
Wait 2-3 hours to give contacts enough time to read your sent message. You can then use the info button to check the status of your message. More on that below.
If your contact is listed under "Read by", it seems that he actually saved your cell phone number. However, if the person appears under "Delivered to," then they most likely don't have you in their contact list, so they won't be able to see your message.
When checking your sent message, keep in mind that some people are rarely active on WhatsApp. It may then take them longer to read a message than others.
