Teen Personal Space bubble

Every day a kid grows up a little bit more and in that little bit more alot of things change for them especially the meanings of things - like personal space.

When a young adult is a kid all they want is their parents time and attention but as they grow older they distance themselves for many reasons usually personal growth, wanting more freedom, needing time alone to process things, feeling like they're suffocating in the space their in and much more.

See as parents, you want to protect, understand and sometimes feel the need to enforce your opinions upon your young but all they are looking for is guidance, support and trust. When they don't receive what they're looking for or what they feel they should be receiving they look for it within peers or other outside sources. So encourage openness and like mindedness, that way there is so much less misunderstanding and exclusion.

A young adult usually begins self isolation when their interests start to grow, they find that they like something their guardians may not approve of or something peers may judge them for, and so the isolation is a way to be in their own life without anyone troubling them, being toxic towards their peace of mind, discouraging them and basically pulling them out of the reality they're trying to create for themselves. Their ideal reality in their personal spacial bubble.

However when someone uninvited intruded on that bubble instead of allowing the person to share their knowledge and reality such as their views... They shrink more within themselves for fear, anxiety, stress yes these all seem like normal problems but judgement in a negative light on a growing person's views and what they find interesting can have bad physcological effects on them and the way they perceive the things they like.

Their personal bubble is their safe haven to explore, learn, grow, figure things out and so much more. It's an important part of growing up in this generation especially during the busy schedules people have these days. Not everyone has the time to positively impact another person, leave alone give another person their complete attention and this does have an effect as well. Kids feeling they have to grow up faster and mature quicker whether they want to or not. You can go out and find a 14 year old who is more mentally mature then someone outside their generation because they've mentally and physically been through more experience in their lives so much so that some don't even have the luxury of a personal bubble. Yes that's exactly what a personal bubble is, a luxury because in this day and age everyone is so consumed with being busy that they forget they're human and need time to breathe.

Its a sad reality and that's why so many people skip their personal bubbles and go straight to virtual reality because it fills the space that they are missing. The space that they needed to use to grow and increase their value for themselves and what they offer to the outside world.
