There are a lot of rumors around the game with the working title "Abandoned". For some reason, the project began to be associated with the Silent Hill series and Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima.
Fans' expectations were fueled by the actions of the head of the development studio Blue Box Game Studios Hasan Kahraman. For example, he published a photo of an island whose name can be read as "Kojima". However, during the summer demonstration nothing was shown properly. The release of Abandoned was postponed until 2022.
Now the studio complained on Twitter about death threats, noting that they come not only online, but also "physically". For months. The message emphasizes that they are not writing on behalf of the "company", but on behalf of ordinary people. Such threats prevent the creation of a safe working environment for future employees and prevent normal work.
Now management intends to act. They plan to hand over IP addresses, logs (correspondence histories) and camera footage to the authorities.
