The fastest tracor

JCB's Fastrac tractor was able to accelerate to a speed of 241.4 kilometers per hour. The record was entered in the Guinness Book.
The tests of the vehicle were held at the airfield in the American city of Ellington. The tractor was driven by rider Guy Martin, who managed to accelerate to 241.4 kilometers per hour. However, the record book was filled with the figure of 217.6 kilometers per hour, because the rules took into account the average speed of two races.
This is not the first record of its kind - Martin also managed to accelerate it to 167 kilometers on his Fastrac tractor this summer.
After that the company's engineers did a lot of work on the Fastrac. The engine was equipped with an electric supercharger, the pressure in the turbine was increased by 230%, and a fuel pump with 2500 bar pressure was added.

The previous version of the tractor had a power of 1014 hp. The company didn't tell us how much power it got now.
