The Earl of Adare is very old and honourable man who is loved by all thee people of Ireland ,he's a great sea Lord doing his days in the Navy ,the Earl has four kids ,Rex being his heir ,Herculean ,O'Neil and Tyrell

Rex the first and eldest son of the Earl , a well known renowned gentleman ,handsome and brave .A tall towering man with tawny too-long ,sun streaked hair and a bronze complexion ,Rex has a brilliant yellow eyes as that was what de warenne men were famous for .

He was clad in high boots ,pale white doeskin breeches and a fine linen shirt ,but was heavily armed .Even in polite society ,he kept a dagger in his belt ,a stilitto in his boot for he had gained his fortune the hard way and he made his heard of enemies .

He left home a very tender age even at being the future Earl thou his father protested but he still left to join the Navy at the very age of sixteen ,he fought his way in ,and after a long period of 10yrs in the Navy having faced hardship and pain ,and having a fair share of war ,he rised to the title of a captain with his own ship and crew and now a privateer under the British rule ,he smiled at his self with a good sense of pride .

He just came back to the island of Dublin to retire his crew after a long voyage from France ,for he have been sent on a mission by his superiors and now wish to rest in the island and to see one of his dear friends .

He was grateful that he had yet to lose a battle or his quarry ,he did not take death lightly. he estimated that he had already used up at least six lives and hoped he had atleast three left .

As he entered the city ,he stirred at the newly constructed hanging block ,unsmiling . A hanging always brought out there biggest crowd ,every rogue and planter ,lady and white,were flocking into the city to watch the thief hanged .Tomorrow they would be breathless with anticipation and excitement ,there would be applause when the thief's neck is to be broken with a loud jarring snap .there would be cheers

Rex tried to ignore everyone he saw on the road and later he realized he was late for appointment with his friend who also is an officer of higher rank in the British consul ,an army commander under the British rule and charged with the safety of the island ,he's much like a governor rex thought while entry commander Bruce's house ,the entrance of Bruce's mansion was opposite the square of the hanging ,just before he turned to enter the commanders house ,he met two women who where at the entrance heading out ,he heard one of them whisper to the other on how the thief was once a naval office who later turned rogue ,he was surprised one she addressed him as Carter ,greatly surprised he stirred to the direction of the women .he knew Carter and they have met once or twice in the naval camp in London .they 'd exchange a few pleasantries .Rex turned away ,the hanging was going to be a circus ,he thought grimly .he knew sure the man will be hanged as the commander was determined to set an example anyway he can in other to ensure the safety of his city .

Two British soldiers sprang forward as he stride past the six ionic columns that supported a pediment displaying the British coats of arm to the huge doors of the Bruce residence ,the gold and Ruby Spurs he wore jangling "captain de Rex ,sir one said relaxing ,my Lord said you are to go in immediately .

Bruce Rose from behind a desk smiling as he saw him ,"Rex ! come in my good Mann,come in!

Rex went inside the sitting room ,shaking the commanders hand. After deliberating on most state matters ,they started talking about the hanging ,at that moment did Rex find out that Carter has a daughter with no wife or relations .He felt nothing but pity for his child . just as they where sipping a caret wine ,they heard a loud voice at the entrance wondering what was happening and just before the could stand ,they saw a slender moon colored hair lady pushing the door wide open with rage ,the lady has a pale blue eyes ,waving a pistol at them ,he heard her say where is Bruce ?with rage ,demanding wildly pointing a pistol at him .

He saw the most vivid blue eyes that he had never beheld locked with and he forgot that a pistol was pointed at him ,he stared ,in shock .

Carter's daughter was not a child ,she was a young woman and a beautiful one at that .

He tried calming her down by begging her to lower here pistols which she did because she was scared having been surrended a dozen of soldiers ,immediate Bruce commanded for her to ceased but Rex intervened not knowing why ."pls allow her to speak,said Rex .Bruce can refused he so asked for her to be freed, suddenly her eyes met his and she was panting heavily and as their gaze held ,he felt a stirring compassion for her ,even thou she look pretty and much like a lady ,she was a child in many ways due to her unorthodox upbringing .

And now he recognised more than desparation in her eyes ;he saw her fear .

" I have come to ask to beg for mercy for my father ,she said .

Bruce was shocked at her audacity ,a mere waif got pass my guards he said furiously as it was disbelieving .Rex recognised his rising temper ," she's worried about her father and rightly so " she assulted my men roared Bruce ,after much begging by Rex he allowed her to speak further ,"I ask that you help me save my father and I promise to do anything murmured Carter's daughter ;I promise he won't steal again .On hearing that ,Rex was perturbed and was so displeased knowing that Bruce will take advantage of her ignorance for she was naive ,but at that moment he felt the urge to help her so he dragged her out of the hall ,"he murmured ,he can't save your father now not even after offering your body to him .

she knew who Rex was so she believed him for he was a noble man respected and wealthy ,her father was her world Rex saw the pains in her eyes ,she welled in years knowing that their was nothing again to do .Rex decided to take her with him in order to ensure her safety for she has no one know ,he's reason was noble .

Elizabeth Carter spent the night in Rex houuse groaning in pain and anger ,she was crying all the night knowing her father will be hanged the next morning ,time ran and behold the day have came .

In the morning of that very day Rex asked her about her family which she answered politely "I have no one aside from my father ,my mum died giving birth to me ,she said tears dropping from her eyes ,"I will help you Rex said cause he couldn't sleep throughout the night ,he had this strong passion to help her .

I'm Rex de warenne he said to her stirring at her eyes ,

I know who you she murmured ,everyone in the island knows you ,Rex is a very handsome man and women gossip about him all the time.

In the afternoon they went to the square where Carter will be hanged for Elizabeth to pay her last visit and respect .The square was full and people where shouting in excitement ,Rex have promise her that he would protect and care for her and tht she can sail with him anytime she wants .

It's time roared one of the officers ,bring out the prisoner he said ,

!papa !papa? Elizabeth cried as father was brought to be hanged .upon hearing the cry of his beloved daughter Carter turned beaming with guilt ,don't you cry for me "tears ran down his cheeks . I can stay without you papa she murmured ,I can't manage if you are gone ,"stop it he roared " listen to me girl ;you tried your best and I'm proud of you ,no father could ask for such a good loyal daughter ,at that moment she knew that was her last moment with him .

Take her out of here Carter said to Rex as he nodded in agreement .

He carried her out of there not far long the loud snap of his neck was heard ,she knew her father is dead

Elizabeth fainted in Christ arms .

After hours of sleeping ,she waked wondering for how long she have slept ,she surveyed her environment and for sure she's was in his ship .she went outside and saw Rex on the deck who asked eventually asked her how she was doing ?

" I'm not dizzy anymore she managed to say ,he smiled at her ,it was at the moment she stirred at rex and she is ,with the most handsome man he have ever seen and he actually seem kind ,genuinely so .He was the greatest sea Masters of his time and Elizabeth admired her now with a keen passion .Rex looked at her and then said ," we are are going to spend 6wks in this ship as he was sailing to London to see his family ,he want to introduce to his family .he have thought of making her part of her as she has no one on Earth .she smiled at him now forgetting her pains .

Days and weeks passed and as each day is drawing close, Rex is drawn to loving Elizabeth ,she was fabulously beautiful and Rex admire her more like a princess ,unknown to Rex he was her champion and he was much like her dream lover ,not long after Rex proposed to her and that was the most happiest moment of her life ,marrying the man of her dreams and their marriage was set to hold on the sea .

Elizabeth was standing next to Rex in white cotton fabric and a diamond necklace ,she was indeed a beauty and Rex was greatful to have her as his wife ,after their vows ,he slipped the gold ring I'm her hand and everyone hurrahed as he kissed her passionately ,and then suddenly Amanda stiffened and glanced over her shoulder ,her father stood there smiling at her ,and then he gave her a salute ,then he said "I have been waiting for this day , I will be going now and he vanished

papa Elizabeth breathed still in Rex arms ,she raised her face smiling ,she's is to be happy now marrying a man that loves her .

Elizabeth the daughter of thief is now to become the future heiress of Adare ,she smiled.
