The iPhone 14 Pro will be a hole. This will be an exclusive feature of the model.
The future iPhone 14 Pro may receive a round or oval cutout in the screen instead of a "monobrow". This is reported by the Asian resource Gizmochina, citing the publication Bloomberg.
Previously, rumors that Apple is going to get rid of "bangs" have arisen several times. Once again, these rumors were confirmed by Mark Gurman, an employee of Bloomberg - he specializes in leaks Apple and periodically compiles reports Power On, in which he collects everything he could find and find out.
Among other things, Gurman provided a few details about the future iPhone 14 lineup. According to him, the lineup will consist of four models: the iPhone 14, the cheaper iPhone 14 Max, and the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. But this time, Apple will separate these lineups in more ways than just price. Gurman believes that the regular "four" and the 14 Pro will have different screen cutouts.
According to the source, Apple will replace the "monobrow" in its current form with a small bean-shaped cutout (or pill, as foreign colleagues write). Between the cutout and the edge of the front panel will appear a small strip of display. However, this will only happen with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Cheaper new products - iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max - will retain the design of the iPhone 13 and will be released with a "monobrow". Thus, the difference between the models will be more obvious - that is, in fact, the "bangs" in the iPhone will sharply become a sign of budget, rather than premium, as it is now. There's speculation that this move will help Apple better sell the more expensive Pro-cars.
As for the sensors, leaks claim that everything will remain as it was - Face ID will not go anywhere and will be retained throughout the lineup. In addition to it, in the "Bean" will be placed light sensor, proximity and True Tone, as well as the front camera.
By the way, the "bean" is not the only option to replace the "bangs". Earlier reputable analyst and insider Ming-Chi Kuo said that the iPhone 2022 will get a round "hole" in the screen for the front camera (first photo above). Anyway, all the leaks agree in one thing - the scandalous "monobrow" won't be with us for long.
