The well-known Krishnacura flower of summer is blooming on this campus with its reddish appearance. From the new Kalabhavan of the university to the Bishmile Gate, the whole campus is covered with the reddish hue of these flowers in every street. It is as if the leaves of the tree are on fire when you see the red Krishnacura swarming on the Akambaka road. This odorless flower has five petals. Flexible soft, long pollen in the middle. The thin branches hang. Within four to five years of planting, the tree bears beautiful white and pink flowers. This tree is relatively less known as it is not our natural tree. The tree is leafless for most of the year except monsoon. This leafless tree has beautiful flowers from late February to April and May. Then new leaves grow and the pink flowers gradually turn white.
