The loss of humanity of humankind

Humans are increasingly losing touch with their humanity as technology and modern life become ever-more entrenched in our daily lives. From social media to smart phones and beyond, humans are becoming more and more reliant on technology to navigate their daily lives, but this can come at a cost.

We often find ourselves so immersed in the digital world that we forget to pay attention to the real world around us. We become so absorbed in the notion that we need to constantly be connected that we forget to take time for ourselves and indulge in simple pleasures that used to form a major part of our lives.

We live in a world where it is more acceptable to post on social media than to have face-to-face conversations, which leads to a disconnect between people. Online anonymity has allowed people to say things that they would never say in person, and this has led to an increase in cyber-bullying, trolling and other forms of hate speech. This disconnect between people not only harms relationships but it also changes how we process our emotions, making us even less able to relate to each other on a human level.

In addition to this, many of us have become prisoners of our own choices. We choose to spend all day scrolling through our phones or spending time in front of our computers, thinking that it is a way to connect with others, when in reality, the majority of our interactions with people online are superficial and meaningless. We find ourselves spending so much time doing what we think will bring us closer to other people, when in fact, it is only driving us further apart.

The social media era has made life and communication easier in many ways, but it has also taken away some of the humanity within us. People are so focused on trying to present themselves in the best possible light online that they often forget to just be themselves. Everything has become about how well you can sell yourself, instead of connecting and relating to other humans in an honest manner.

Humanity is being lost as we become ever-more entrenched in the digital world. We need to put an emphasis on positive and meaningful interactions with others, both online and in person. We must focus on strengthening our connections with other humans, by having meaningful conversations and relationships, and by learning to accept and appreciate real human contact over virtual substitutes. Technology should be seen as a tool to enhance our lives, not a replacement for the beautiful and connections we make with other people. It's important to remember the phone's a phone but a human being that's not replaceable your family members more important than your Tesla checking your emails not as important as go to your kids soccer game why are so many people blind to what's important other humans not a bunch of hardware and Metal and wires blood and flesh matter more in the end of the day
