The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry regards the situation with the OSCE mission in Donbas as an attempt to escalate the armed conflict.
According to Mykolenko, the actions to obstruct the work of the OSCE mission are unacceptable.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine considers the blocking of the work of the OSCE observation mission in the occupied Donbas as an attempt to fan an armed conflict. And also as an element of Russian efforts to destroy the Minsk agreements.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said this, RBC-Ukraine reported on Monday, October 18
According to him, actions to obstruct the work of the OSCE mission are unacceptable.
"The blocking and pressure on observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donetsk is an element of Russia's ongoing efforts to destroy the Minsk agreements and fan the armed conflict," Nikolenko said.
He stressed that Russia had previously closed the OSCE observer mission at the Gukovo and Donetsk checkpoints on the Russian side of the border. And the decision of the Permanent Council of the OSCE is aimed at ensuring the mandate of the Special Monitoring Mission on the entire territory of Ukraine.
"We call on Russia to steadfastly fulfill its obligations: to stop provocations against international observers of the OSCE mission, unblock their movements, ensure unhindered access in the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, guarantee security," - said Nikolenko.
He added that Ukraine is cooperating with international partners to resume the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

The OSCE Mission has suspended its work in the ORDLO after the so-called "protests" outside its headquarters in occupied Donetsk, but continues its work in the non-government-controlled part of Luhansk Region.
In occupied Horlivka, pro-Russian militants took OSCE mission members hostage and locked them in a hotel.
The statement of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG states that the seizure and holding hostage of international observers of the OSCE mission in Horlivka has signs of international terrorism. It is noted that such actions are a gross undermining of the security system in Europe.
