The World's Fastest SUV: BMW X6 Typhoon RS Ultimate V10

The fastest SUV on the planet is a car that was designed on the basis of BMW X6M. The work on tuning of the car was carried out by the employees of G-Power atelier. The specialists managed to do almost impossible car called BMW X6 Typhoon RS Ultimate V10, accelerates to 100 km/h only in 4.2 seconds and 13 seconds later the speedometer will already show 200 km/h. At the same time, the speedometer continues up to 330 km/h. This is the maximum speed for this vehicle. Here it is important to note that the power of the engine is 900 horsepower, and its maximum torque is equal to 870 Nm. Such characteristics are the envy of some sports cars.
Under the hood you can find a V10 engine with a capacity of 5.5 liters, equipped with a pair of mechanical turbochargers ASA T1-316. It was decided to let the traction to the rear axle, using a special gearbox, developed in the shops of G-Power. The car now weighs 150 kilograms less, thanks to the use of a titanium exhaust system, new sports seats and 23-inch wheels. Again, this has had a positive effect on its speed characteristics.
The Typhoon RS Ultimate V10 got carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers. Body tuning, in turn, was aimed at optimizing aerodynamic properties, which brought its results. However you can not find such a car on the street, the probability is negligible. Only five copies were produced and each of them cost 900 thousand euros for its owners.
The speed characteristics are not the main thing in the SUV. Much more important is cross-country ability, ability to keep adequate controllability in difficult weather conditions and safety. But in spite of this, the specialists from tuning studio must be praised all the same. Unique cars are not created in order to get into mass production in the future. But they delight the eyes of connoisseurs of non-standard vehicles and add to the collections, which decades later will be worth a lot of money.
