A puppy named Hong Dong was sold at the age of 11 months. At that time, Hong Dong had reached one meter in height at the withers and weighed about 80 kilograms. The dog breeder, Lu Liang, said that he always knew that this puppy had perfect genes and would give excellent offspring, but he had no idea how much he would be paid for it.
The Chinese did not disclose information about who exactly purchased the dog, paying $1.5 million for it, but there are reports that one of the billionaires from the north of the country did.
