Sshhhh! It's a secret...please don't tell anyone. If I tell you my deepest secret, are you sure it is still going to be a secret? Remember that you have friends, lovers, relatives and maybe out of loyalty you might tell my secret and still pretend it a secret kept. Smile. I'm sure you've heard this statement before; "Three people can keep a secret if two are dead" This implies that keeping a secret is almost impossible for most people. Tell me your secret and shoot me on the spot then you are sure that it a secret kept.
To keep a secret can be so hard and difficult for so many people. Sometimes, they feel that the only way for them to relieve themselves of such a great burden will be just to spill the beans. I understand these people. Sometimes the urge to say something is so strong that the only option is to tell the secret. Sometimes gossip is fun and interesting, and people really love to gossip, I know.
Some other people are of the habit of NOT keeping any secret at all, and they see it as fun when they reveal everything that they were not told to say. They don’t even recognize that they are doing it. To them it is just normal, and they don’t seem to see any sense in restraining that urge. Tell them your secret and see the effectiveness of mass communication. Such people are easy to spot. Just tell them, “Please, this is a secret,” watch their eyes start to glow almost immediately.They derive their pleasure from telling secrets. Ironically, they will even start by telling you that “Please, this is a big secret." Very funny indeed.
It is advisable to share your secret with trusted persons, people who can help you take it to the grave and not tell it to your enemy. Secret should are confidential and such should not be publicized.
