Three teen young men condemned for killing youthful dad Scott Anderson and tossing him in a channel

Three teen young men who over and again cut a 'stranger', prior to tossing him into the waterway, have been seen as blameworthy of homicide. 


The 33-year-old dad Scott Anderton, from Leigh, kicked the bucket on 25 Walk 2021 in Leigh town focus. 


Scott had been wounded multiple times. He was then tossed into the Leeds and Liverpool Channel, as he frantically attempted to escape the water, the youngsters ruled blows down on him. 


As police pulled the assemblage of Scott Anderton from the trench, the three young people stood close by - shooting the scene on their telephones. 


At Manchester Crown Court, hearers consistently saw a 16-year-old kid as liable of homicide. A 17-year-old was gotten free from murder, however saw as blameworthy of homicide after the jury and a third youngster, Liam Bailey, 18, had recently conceded Mr Anderton's homicide. The two more youthful young men couldn't be named for legitimate reasons. 


Talking at the hour of his passing, Scott's family depicted him as "the most mindful, adoring, most thoughtful individual you could meet". 


Our family have been denied of a child, father, grandson, sibling, nephew and uncle. There is a void which can never be filled and our family won't ever dealt with their misfortune.

During a five-week preliminary, members of the jury heard the three litigants tricked Mr Anderton to a segregated stretch of trench, off Lord Road, prior to wounding him to death in a fierce assault. 


Subsequent to killing Mr Anderton, the 16-year-old - made a web search enquiring, "How long do u get for a homicide". 


More noteworthy Manchester Police's Significant Occurrence Group said: "I'm satisfied that a jury have had the option to arrive at a decision following these terrible violations and I praise Scott's family for their mental fortitude and strength all through what has been an extended and agonizing preliminary." 


These guys currently anticipate what I suspect to be an extensive custodial sentence and albeit unfortunately we can't rejoin Scott with his friends and family, I trust today they feel a feeling of equity being served.
