How would you start a blog on the subject of Beauty?

Would you just to have a general blog or would you choose a certain topic under the title of Beauty? Choosing an actual certain niche within the whole subject of Beauty will probably be a better option especially when writing and blogging.

Because it is targeted and specific about a certain subject rather than just about Beauty as a whole the interested reader will have searched for that particular topic within the title of Beauty.

When they search through a search engine like Google for example,  for nail varnish types they will not just be looking for beauty and nail varnish types. They will look for nail varnish types the best chip free and glossy etc.,  for example and if you've chosen to write all about new and exciting colours of nail varnish which are glossy and resistant to chips and long-lasting your blog will come up higher in search engine results. 

The list is endless but you have a lot more chance to be recognised and get more visitors to your blog by being niche specific under a certain subject.
This is perhaps the first rule of choosing a subject for your blog.

However, having said that if you want to write about beauty as a whole within your blog, give it a structure; eg. with reviews of certain subjects;  weekly and monthly reviews; daily posts, and more. A routine that readers and listeners can follow.

You can target this to both men and women , different products that you can use and you can give your blog a structure.

Having a Blog that covers a lot of subjects with in it, can also work very well as long as you structure your blog and you organise it so that you cover different topics within the beauty World.

When you are creating a blog on any subject you must be specific in some way so that your potential viewers look for subjects on the internet that they are interested in.

Your blog will come up in the search results and you want to make sure that they come up high up in search result listings, hopefully within the first 3 Page's.

If your blog is in the first three pages of results when people search for the subjects they are interested in you are almost 100% guaranteed to be in a win-win situation.

Getting your blog in the top 3 pages of search engine results is brilliant and can get you a lot of interested viewers.
