Most of it is located underwater, and only 1 m, visible to the human eye. The thickness of the "old man" is about 60 cm. The log is virtually indestructible. All this is due to the fact that the water in the lake is quite cold, just like the air itself. Its upper part has a whitish ash color. This is probably the reason why the trunk got such an unusual name.
