Ubisoft has "quietly" announced a release date for Rainbow Six Extraction. Testers called the game a "Skin Shop"

VGC reporters noticed that on the Ubisoft's website the release date of Rainbow Six Extraction appeared. The game was supposed to be released this year, but the release was moved to "January 2022".

The site "quietly" updated the old June 12 post with a release date.

The estimated release date for Rainbow Six Extraction is January 20, 2022. Ubisoft has not yet commented on the information. The game's Epic Games Store page still has the date "January 2022".

Rainbow Six Extraction is to be released on PC (EGS) and consoles PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

We already wrote about how testers didn't appreciate the game: "This game is designed to sell skins [looks, cosmetic items]." They also noted that they are already testing content that will not appear in the release version and then they plan to present it as "additional content.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a cooperative PvE shooter in which the operatives familiar from Rainbow Six Siege face the greatest threat of all - an invasion by deadly alien mutants (with "Archei").

In August 2021, Ubisoft unveiled Rainbow Six Extraction gameplay and talked about the game.
