Pumpkin pie with apples is a delicious fall dish. The pie is juicy, not like a biscuit. Because of the sweetness of pumpkin, no additional flavorings are needed. It will take about an hour to prepare.
pumpkin - 500 g;
apple - 2-3 pcs;
leavening agent - 1,5 teaspoons;
egg - 1 pc;
sugar - 100 gr;
milk - 50 ml;
flour - 2,5-3 cups.
Prepare the products for the pie. Peel the pumpkin from the skin and the inner edge. You will need 500 g of pumpkin already prepared and peeled.
Cut the pumpkin into pieces, put it in the blender bowl and puree it.
Add milk, egg and sugar to the pumpkin and mix well.
Mix the flour with the baking powder. Pour it into the pumpkin in small portions. Mix the dough thoroughly.
Bring the dough to a medium consistency, you should not make it too steep, then the pie will be tastier and juicier.
Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease it with any pastry fat or vegetable oil. Spread the dough.
Wash apples, remove core, cut into slices. Insert the apples, pressing lightly into the dough.
Send the pie to a hot oven for 40-45 minutes at 200-220 degrees. Check the readiness of the pie with a toothpick. The dough shouldn't stretch, but it won't go in easily like a biscuit, either.
Cool the cake and sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
