Very tasty and healthy chocolate without sugar

Ingredients for four bars of homemade chocolate

200 g cocoa butter


200g of real cocoa powder


1 vanilla pod


2 tablespoons sweeteners, powdered sugar or agave syrup, stevia


A pinch of salt


A dash of pecan or almond butter


Ingredients for decoration and filling, such as nuts or raisins, grated orange peel or cinnamon.


You will also need the following utensils


A heatproof mixing bowl


A pan


A silicone mold for chocolate bars.


Alternatively, you can use a baking tray with parchment paper


A kitchen spatula for smoothing.


Method for making

Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the pulp with a teaspoon.


Slowly melt the cocoa butter in a water bath over low heat. The cocoa butter should not be too hot, the temperature of the mass should not exceed 40 degrees.


Add the hazelnut or almond butter and the cocoa powder.


Add the sweetener, vanilla bean pulp and a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly until a glossy homogeneous mass is formed.


Remove the chocolate mixture from the water bath. The main thing is to make sure that no water vapor settles in the bowl, it will damage the chocolate mixture.


Allow to cool to 30 to 33 degrees, stirring constantly, and pour into molds: if the chocolate has the right temperature, it will shine beautifully.


Add nuts, other fillings.


Let cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes, then remove from the mold and you can enjoy!
