Vivo S10e Launch Date, Price, Specs and Features

Vivo is reportedly working on a new smartphone in the ‘S' series to diversify its portfolio and is gearing up to launch it alongside the Vivo X70 series on September 9. A new Vivo V2130A model has reportedly been spotted on TENAA. The listings tip key specifications and design of the rumoured phone. This model is reported to be the Vivo S10e. It is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The Vivo S10e is additionally reported to pack a 3,970mAh battery.

Vivo S10e Launch Date

As per the listing, Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo S10e on September 9. It will be an online exclusive smartphone. It is already available in China. In terms of pricing, the Vivo S10e has been listed for 1299 Yuan (approximately Rs. 14,500) on China’s largest e-commerce platform, The listing is still valid but does not specify the retail partner of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. On previous occasions, the Vivo S10 was also launched in China for the same price. However, it is unknown if the same pricing is expected with the global launch as well. Vivo S10e Specifications The phone is seen listed on TENAA as Vivo V2130A model. In the listing, it is also seen to pack a 6.21-inch display, that is likely a notch-less display.


Vivo S10e Price

An official poster of the Vivo S10e reveals the purported price of the smartphone. The Vivo S10e is likely to cost around Yuan 2,550 (approximately Rs 28,600). Notably, this is the price range that the Vivo X21 has been priced in. Vivo S10e Design Vivo had launched the Vivo X21 in March in India for Rs 35,990. It featured an in-display fingerprint sensor for the first time in the market. It looked similar to the Vivo X20 Plus UD, which was launched in China in December last year with a similar design. However, the Vivo X21 features a vertically arranged triple rear camera setup and smaller notch. As per the TENAA listing, the S10e is expected to feature a waterdrop notch similar to the Vivo X21. The smartphone is expected to feature a thin bezel design and lack a 3.5mm audio jack.

An earlier report had claimed that the Vivo S10e will feature a front facing fingerprint sensor on its front. However, it will likely come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as in the X20 Plus UD. According to the TENAA listing, the Vivo S10e is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone is reported to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In terms of optics, the Vivo S10e is likely to come with a dual camera setup at the back comprising a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone is also rumoured to feature an 8-megapixel camera on the front. It is also said to include a 3.


What is rumored to be the Vivo S10e?

The latest information from TENAA lists the Vivo S10e with a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The phone features a notch on top of the display, which is expected to house the selfie camera and the earpiece. The notch houses the front camera sensors and earpiece as well. The back of the phone is covered with an array of cameras, flash, and fingerprint scanner. The phone is said to sport a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Vivo S10e is expected to feature a dual camera setup on the back, a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The camera setup is claimed to support facial recognition.



From the purported specifications and teasers released so far, it appears that the Vivo S10e is the successor to the Vivo S9 that was launched in India in March this year. With that, it will be an upgrade in terms of both design and specifications, but, with a different set of dual-rear cameras. It is unlikely to take on the other budget handsets by taking away any of their key features. Though the teasers and images released so far do not reveal much information about the Vivo S10e. But, based on the features and specifications revealed so far, it appears to be a high-end budget smartphone with a dual-camera setup on the front and a 3,970mAh battery. We cannot confirm whether the Vivo S10e is actually the successor of the Vivo S9 or not.
