Western countries are preparing for war with Russia
German expert predicted a real war between NATO and Russia
In Britain the conflict between Russia and NATO is admitted because of the events in Ukraine

The American Conservative writes that Russia's actions in Ukraine are based on a rational reason - to ensure its own security. Putin is acting absolutely honestly within the framework of what he warned about in advance. He does not want war with the West, the author believes. But Biden must stop NATO expansion.
Where did it all start?
When Vladimir Putin demanded that the US exclude Ukraine from future NATO alliance members, the US cunningly replied: NATO has an "open door" policy. Any country, including Ukraine, can apply for membership and be accepted into the alliance. We, as they say, do not change anything here.
In the Bucharest Declaration of 2008, NATO put Ukraine and Georgia "in line" for NATO membership and under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which states that an attack on any member is an attack on the entire military alliance.
Unable to get a satisfactory response to his demand, Putin entered Ukraine and resolved the issue. Now neither Ukraine nor Georgia will become members of NATO. On Thursday, Feb. 24, Russia decided that it would go on a "special military operation" to prevent this from happening. Putin did exactly what he warned us about.
Whatever the character of the Russian president, which is now hotly debated here in the United States, he has confirmed one thing: He can be trusted. When Putin warns that he will do something, he follows his words.
A few days into this conflict, potentially the worst in Europe since 1945, two questions need to be answered: how did we get to this point? And where do we go from here?
How did we get to a point where Russia has its back against the wall, while the United States, pushing NATO ever closer to Russia's borders, is driving it even further into a corner? It was cornered to the point that Moscow preferred a military special operation against Ukraine rather than resign itself to the fate and the future that, in its opinion, the West had prepared for Mother Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered that the Russian deterrence forces be placed in a special service mode. Putin said this at a meeting today in the Kremlin with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and First Deputy Minister Valery Gerasimov.
According to the president, "Western countries are taking not only unfriendly actions against our country in the economic sphere," but also "illegitimate sanctions."
"Top officials of leading NATO countries also allow aggressive statements against our country. Therefore, I order the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff to transfer the deterrence forces of the Russian army to a special mode of combat duty," Putin stressed.
The website of the Defense Ministry explains that strategic forces of deterrence (STF) are the basis of the combat power of the Armed Forces and are meant for deterring an aggressor against the Russian Federation and its allies and for defeating an aggressor in a war using various kinds of arms including nuclear weapons. The core of the Strategic Nuclear Forces consists of the Strategic Missile Forces.
Western countries are getting ready for war with Russia
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss threatened that the situation in Ukraine would escalate into a conflict between Russia and NATO.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss threatened that the situation in Ukraine could eventually escalate into a conflict with NATO.
"If we don't stop Putin in Ukraine, others will be threatened: the Baltic states, Poland, Moldova. And this could end up in a conflict with NATO, and we don't want that," the British minister said on Sky News.
The head of the British Foreign Office stressed that the Western countries are fighting "not only for the Ukrainians," reports RIA Novosti. According to her, Ukraine is fighting "for their sovereignty and right to self-determination."
"This prolonged conflict concerns freedom and democracy in Europe," the British minister believes.
Liz Truss warned Europe that it will face "economic sacrifices that it will have to make," but these sacrifices "are incomparable to those of Ukraine."
German expert predicted a real war between NATO and Russia
The developments in Ukraine today will lead to the fact that in the next few hours or days the Russian and Belarusian troops will be at the borders of NATO. This was stated by security expert Ulrich Kühn of the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy in Hamburg in an interview with DW.
According to the expert, it means the risk of an unintended escalation.
He recalled that US President Joe Biden and other leaders of NATO countries stressed that they would not send troops of the alliance to Ukraine. At the same time, there were also statements by Western figures that if Russia invaded Ukraine, weapons would be supplied, which the Ukrainians
