ArenaNet Studios is preparing for the winter break to start the final preparations for the release of the third major add-on End of Dragons early next year. The developers have summed up some of the results of 2021, and also told what awaits players MMORPG Guild Wars 2 before the journey to Kantu.
Previous seasons of living history.
In May, the "Return of the Living World" campaign was launched to give new players an insight into the history of the dragon cycle and prepare them for the upcoming events. For weeks, the studio gave away episodes of living history from seasons two through five for free. They've also added new achievements to it. These will always be available. By completing these achievements, players will receive a large number of useful items, a title, equipment and an item for the creation of legendary weapons of the next generation. Players will be able to exchange Fragment of Prismatic Light for the precursor of a new legendary weapon after the release of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons.
