What has happened to society today?

What is really going on with society today? Why is it okay to monetize beauty in today's world? The true answer is, it's never okay for this.

Friday and Saturday of the past week, I hosted a 48 Hour event on another app and site. For 48 hours, we streamed live. I have some followers there who knew the expirement was going to happen, but there were many who didn't. I started my stream with me in front of the camera taking live music requests and playing everyone's favorite songs. We had new viewers pop in and out the whole time, but there were not a lot of people there. Then, on hour 2, we switched up and I had an awesome friend take my seat and do the same thing. The hour she was in front of the camera, we got way more views, likes and attention. We found it hilarious. So then we moved on to taking questions and giving great advice to every question. Hour 3, a few people stopped by but not as many during hour 4. We did this for 48 hours straight back and forth choosing all kinds of topics from music to advice to even praying with people.

What really blew my mind was when I was live, not many people wanted to support or even veiw us. I'm your typical 32 year old male, a little overweight, but I have 2 college degrees and I'm a ordained and licensed minister and motivational speaker. So, I have trained for this. My friend, who we will call "Naomi" just for privacy, she on the other hand, has long, black hair, green eyes, in the upper 100's in weight and stands 5 foot 5 inches tall. She graduated high school, but after that, she bought a biker bar and now owns, operates, and usually barkeeps there a lot.

When I was on camera, not many people wanted to come by. But, as soon as the beautiful woman Naomi got on camera, out live flooded with viewers, gifts, likes, comments, etc. Why?

Because the general society has come to the point that if you're beautiful, wear right clothes, and usually talk about nothing that's important, they would rather listen to you than the 32 year old motivational speaker/ ordained minister who may be heavyset but very smart, even though he is autistic.

We need to come together, as a family, built on love and trust, and respect, and stop putting beautiful people on a pedestal. Now, there is nothing wrong with being beautiful. But beauty goes way deeper than just eye color, perfect skin, or the looks. True real beauty is when you look at someone, but you look beyond what they look like and you look at their souls and their personalities. That's where the real beauty is.

Y'all stay safe out there, stay prayed up, and know your rights.
