Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, my dear brother/sister. May peace and blessings be upon you.

The history of the Qur'an is a rich and profound journey that spans over 1,400 years. The Qur'an is the sacred scripture of Islam, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by Allah through the Angel Gabriel over a period of 23 years.

The revelation of the Qur'an began in the year 610 CE when the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq. The revelations continued intermittently until the year 632 CE, when the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) passed away. Throughout this period, the Qur'an was revealed in stages, addressing the various needs and circumstances of the Muslim community at the time.

After the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the task of compiling the Qur'an into a single, unified book was undertaken during the caliphate of Abu Bakr(R.A) , the first caliph of Islam. This compilation was completed under the leadership of the second caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab (R.A), and the third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan (R.A).

The process of compilation involved gathering the various written and oral revelations of the Qur'an and organizing them into a coherent and standardized format. The companions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who had memorized the Qur'an played a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and preservation of the text.

The Qur'an has been preserved in its original Arabic language since the time of its revelation, with millions of Muslims around the world memorizing the entire text. The Qur'an is considered the ultimate source of guidance for Muslims, providing spiritual, moral, and legal guidance for all aspects of life.

We should read the Qur'an to seek guidance, knowledge, and spiritual nourishment. It is a source of wisdom, solace, and enlightenment for believers. By reading and reflecting on its verses, we can strengthen our faith, increase our knowledge of Islam, and gain a deeper understanding of our purpose in this world.

"seek protection in Allah from the accursed shaytan."

"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful".

You should say these before beginning the Qur'an.

When reading the Qur'an, it is important to approach it with humility, sincerity, and open heart. Recite it with reverence, understanding that these are the words of Allah Himself. Reflect on the meanings of the verses, ponder over their significance, and strive to implement the teachings in your life.

Surah Al-Asr translation. It is a chapters Of Qur'an.

By the time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.”

In conclusion, the history of the Qur'an is a testament to the divine guidance and wisdom contained within its verses. It is a source of inspiration and guidance for Muslims around the world, guiding them in their faith, worship, and daily lives.
