Which Porsche sports car is the most popular in 2021?

Porsche has given statistics of sales of its sports cars and crossovers for three quarters of the current year. And, surprisingly enough, the first line of the German brand's bestsellers among passenger cars was taken not by the cult 911 or the most accessible 718. The first electric car of the company - Porsche Taycan became the leader of this year.
From January to September 2021, 28,640 Porsche Taycan sedans and Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo station wagons were sold, accounting for 13.2% of the total number of Porsche cars sold in the first nine months of 2021 worldwide. Next comes the Porsche 911 family with 27,972 units and a share of 12.9%, the Porsche Panamera with 20,275 units and 9.3%, and the "entry" Porsche 718 with 15,916 cars and 7.3%.
But, as before, the main sales of Porsche come from crossovers. Almost a third of all sold cars of the brand or 28.7% this year are Cayenne. The company managed to sell 62,451 units for three quarters. The compact Macan is not far behind the flagship with 61,944 units and 28.5%.
